openmul.org launches Openmul Developer Challenge ODC1, which will provide awards for the best GUI built using openmul REST APIs.

Submission Guidelines
The entrant can submit their application (Source-code and related document) to [email protected]. If it exceeds email attachment limits, openmul requests entries to post their application web links (for download) to the email mentioned.

Requirements
- GUI should be web-based and use openmul REST APIs.
- All submitted GUI applications must run on openmul 4.0.1 and be in English.
- GUI should have mandatory support for : - Showing Network Topology. Should show network/switch nodes and their connectivity. - Information about network/switch nodes like datapath-id, Ports, Openflow version etc should be displayed.
- The application should be modular and extensible.
- Emphasis should be given to overall visual impact of the GUI.
- Adding and Deleting flows. All flows match and actions fields used in REST APIs should be supported.
Awards
The grand winner will be awarded US$ 2,000.
Ownership and Rights
- The winning entrant must assign to openmul.org rights to the code submitted. openmul.org will distribute the code under free and open-source license.
- If submission depends on third party libraries, the license(s) of those libraries must not prevent or limit openmul.org from distributing entrant's code.
